Custom Lighting
As you look at all these handmade, artist-designed lamps, there are quite a few custom options avavilable. If you have specific needs or wishes I am very happy to discuss them with you via e-mail or by phone 206.799.1347. All the table lamps for instance are easily adaptable as pendants for over countertops or as chandeliers. In general all my work is meant to provide that artistic touch of ambient lighting as opposed to specific task lighting.
All the pieces below were special orders completed for individual clients

Linda Adams Residence
As I was searching for some images for this particular lamp I realized what a treasure trove I had in all the beautiful little drawings David Farnsworth had done over the years for the ornament business. It was fun to combine them together to create a whole different product from the ornaments. This particular base was given to me by the customer. It was from a lamp that had been in her family for years and I reinvented it for this piece.

Kerby Residence
This was sort of an experiment of combining the metalalbilia lamps with the new paper collage pieces. There are lots of fun custom details on the paper piece. There is a picture of the client's daughter and one of her mother as a baby too.

The Beach Glass Chandelier
This client brought me a bare bones chandelier and a giant box of beach glass she had collected over the years. Luckily for me she had spent hours wiring the beach glass as she watched tv. I love embellishing chandeliers. You can take the plainest piece and turn it into a fabulous custom work of art that will be the focal point of any room.

Budge/Whitesides Residence
I love the fifties (or is it sixties?) era shape of this piece. It's such a personal piece and all the ornaments were put on it specifically with these clients in mind. It's so beautiful in their home and reflects their soulful natures.
I love working with clients to create phenomenal works of light for their homes and businesses. Lighting is so important and can make or break the look and feel of any room. I always tell people to have
lots of ambient light and then to have specific task lighting for reading or work. It's important too to have lighting at different levels in a rooms. I have about 12 lamps in my small living room and that sounds like a lot, but it makes for a very warm atmosphere.
